Project Co-ordinator
As a result of continued expansion, we are seeking a part-time Project Co-ordinator to join our busy team. We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic person who will bring their excellent organisational and problem solving skills to our thriving business. The successful candidate will be numerate, articulate and confident in their ability to read ground plans and working drawings. This role would suit a recent graduate of a technical theatre course, or current theatre practitioner.

We take pride in delivering a quality service - helping our clients reach the best solution for their project then supplying beautifully made drapes or printed textiles to order.

Our regular clients include the National Theatre, the RSC, Glyndebourne Opera, English National Opera, the Royal Opera House and many leading West End producers. Image Fabrication produces printed banners for Sotheby's and many graphic design companies.

The role of Project Co-ordinator will encompass the following areas:

Client liaison - the majority of our work is conducted over the phone or by email. We provide quotes and advice based on verbal instructions or visual specifications (CAD drawings). We occasionally attend site meetings with production managers and designers, or they may visit our workshops. Initially the successful candidate will work along side our MD, until confident enough to manage projects alone.
 
Create job sheets - from the information supplied by the client through meetings or conversations and order the relevant fabrics and accessories for each job. This will be in conjunction with one of our sales advisors.

Liaise with the sewing staff  - passing on the information from the job sheets, ensuring jobs are prioritised correctly, with guidance from our workshop supervisor, eventually leading to overseeing the workshop staff and carrying out final inspections on all goods before despatch. 


Hours: Monday - Friday 12.30 - 5.30pm with the possibility of this becoming a full time position.
